Family Fishing at Lake Godstone™
Our 35 person lodge, cabins, campgrounds and Guest Home provide a fishing experience for families that will be remembered for years. Connecting families to Nature is our goal and we at Lake Godstone™ want to be remembered as an Experience and not as a Destination. With six partially covered docks and swim ladders and boat moorings around Lake Godstone™ we offer the opportunity to catch large mouth bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish and to enhance the experience with have rental row boats, kayaks, canoes and pedal boats to our guests. Lake Godstone was created in 2016 and the addition of a new 35-person lodge, a three-bedroom guest home, cabins and campgrounds, a sports field complex with sand volleyball, baseball, soccer, and a lit basketball court, a four mile hike and bike trail, sandy beaches, a horse stall with pasture and small group meeting places around the campus followed over the next seven years. Our office and store serve our guests with often-forgotten items such as ice, bait, insect spray, charcoal and firewood (matches as well if needed). We have 19 firepits on our campus with plenty of ways to explore the beauty of the campus. Our six-person rental UTV, golf cart and eight-person pontoon boat with trolliing motor provide an enhanced way to explore our ranch retreat and see our wildlife. The Observatory at our sports field complex features an electric telescope for guests acquainted with the use of night sky viewing telescopes. There are six miles of all-weather road connecting our facilities around the forested Lake Godstone™ and our wooded upper meadows where there are four wildlife feed stations with protein, corn and bird feeders as well as watering holes where the deer, raccoon and a wide variety of birds can often be seen. Photographers will enjoy the seclusion of the ranch from city night lights providing a night sky viewing unobstructed by anything except clouds.
