Lake Godstone™ Retreats connect Families to Nature and preserves and improves wildlife habitat such that nature is revealed in a safe and educational family setting. Our family reviews reveal our effort to provide an Experience rather than a Destination. There are endless Ranch Activities available to our guests that include fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking, soccer, baseball, basketball, sand volleyball, an observatory, nature and wildlife viewing feed stations, photography or just relaxing. With seven partially covered docks on the lake and two fishing ponds the water sports opportunities are boundless and our lake lily pads provide a great place for sunbathing. Whether guest are staying at our 35-person lodge, our cabins or our campgrounds all-weather roads connect everything with ample parking at your facility. You can visit our store and office and rent a golf cart, six passenger UTV canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, or row boat or book a tractor-pull hayride for up to 25 people. Our store has the basics such as firewood for our 20 large fire-pits around the campus, water, ice, fishing equipment and bait, dry goods, tshirts, tents, briquets, and information about the campus including maps. Our bird view station includes a small enclosed structure with windows and seating for photography as well as bird feeders and butterfly feeders. Each of our docks has a fish feeder, fish prep table, swim ladder, boat mooring and seating and the fishing is awesome with bountiful large mouth bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish, The Tranquil Trail is a four-mile grass and rock hiking and mountain bike trail that surrounds the heavily treed lake and wooded upper meadows of the ranch retreat facilities.
